Starship Scramble #Devlog 2


Hi guys,

I have been receiving lots of meaningful feedback since the demo launched, and Oh bois! It has been lots of works for me fixing things and add new content to match your suggestion. Thank you so much for playing my game and support me.

Firstly, to make Starship Scramble more accessible to new player, I have added more tool tips explaining weapons. This will help new player understanding the concept of scaling and specialty of each weapons, which is quite a lot in this demo.
 

Stats in this game can be confusing and overwhelming. To address this, I have created another tooltip dedicated to explain each stats.  Hmm, they explain stats, just it.


Many complaints specifically target the auto targeting of weapons that "They are so dumb". Well, I have adjusted this issue and weapons now target the closest enemies. Some overpower weapon such as Sound Cannon and Decay dispenser has been slightly nerfed. Unfortunately, drones has not been adjusted in this update. 

Many other issues have been resolved including bugs, hull glitch, power glitch, overloading movement speed glitch. Coin drop have been balanced and balanced and balanced again. They now drop from scanning asteroids and orefields as well. The speed from rotation has been adjusted so ship cannot move too much faster than the original way.  Heat is not positioned closed to cast and specialty. Their buttons also response to the amount of heat.

Some silly mistakes by me :P, well the shop lock has always been in the code, But I never made a button for it. Anyway it exists from now on.

Well as for game play, Starship Scramble demo has extended  from 5 waves to 9 waves. This coincidently activates the rarity system for higher tier crews with more enjoyable effect. There has been more enemies joined the game as well. And So Happy Surviving Pilots.
